Sweet Peach
sweetpeachboutique.shop ↗Sweet Peach is an Australian luxury lingerie label run by a faceless founder from country Victoria who trained in Paris. We redesigned the store on Dwell with a black storefront, six lingerie sets as the main product, and a collection for every piece.

The brief they came with
Sweet Peach sells matching lingerie sets. Each set has a bra and a g-string, and four of the sets also have a suspender. The founder had put together a basic Shopify page on their own and said they had little idea what they were doing. There was no photo shoot yet.
The team wanted the store rebuilt to a professional standard and made ready for launch, so the founder could drop in professional photos and go live. The brief covered fonts, spacing, the header, the footer and a mega menu. It also included a full homepage, product pages with accordions and FAQs, About, Contact, FAQ and policy pages, reviews, a discount popup, search and filters, and abandoned checkout reminders.
The problem
The store had no design system. Fonts, spacing and text sizes changed from page to page, so a luxury product looked homemade.
There were no product photos. Any design had to work with placeholder images and still be easy for the founder to update without help.
Sizing was inconsistent. Only one product let customers pick a top size and a bottom size. On every other product, a shopper couldn't order the right fit for each half of a set.
The way products were structured didn't suit how lingerie is bought. Each bra size behaved like its own product, which tied bottom sizes to bra sizes. A customer who wears an 8C bra and a large g-string had no clean way to order. After the first build, the founder's designer also advised selling every piece on its own, which meant the catalogue needed a second layer under the sets.
The founder's name showed on the site. They wanted to stay faceless, so their name had to come out everywhere and be replaced with "Founder" or "Designer".
What we built
- 01 A black storefront built around placeholder imagery We started on a draft theme with the homepage. It has a hero banner with the brand tagline, a category section, a product carousel, an About section and a Why Choose Us section. We redesigned the header and footer, updated the logo font and added a mega menu. After the first preview, the founder asked for a mainly black background like Honey Birdette's site. We moved the whole store to a black and dark grey colour scheme.
- 02 About and Contact pages the founder can edit We built the About, Contact, FAQ and policy pages using editable sections, so every line of text and every image can be changed in the Shopify admin. The About page uses the founder's own copy. It covers the Paris training, the craft, and the ethics and sustainability commitments. It also explains the Close Friends Club, where loyal customers meet the founder privately. We removed the founder's name from the site and used "Founder" and "Designer" instead.
- 03 Top and bottom sizes on every product We built the collection page and a product template with accordions for details, an FAQ block and customer reviews. We then copied the founder's one correctly set up product across the range, so every product had separate top and bottom size options. After that we built the mobile view. The founder's reaction was "The site is very impressive."
- 04 A collection for every single piece Following the advice to sell pieces individually, we created a Lingerie Sets collection with sidebar filters, plus Bra, Panties, and Suspenders & Garters collections. Products are assigned to these collections with three tags: bra, panties and suspender. That lets the founder add the six bras, four suspenders and six g-strings later without touching the theme. We tagged a few products ourselves to test the layout and filters.
- 05 Sets as the main product In the second phase we installed Shopify's free Bundler app and linked each set to its individual pieces. We added the matching pieces as complementary products on each set page, such as Rouge Desir. The Lingerie Sets page shows only the six sets. Each piece collection shows a set at the bottom. The mega menu's featured products and the homepage collection now point to the Complete Bundle Sets.
- 06 Gift cards and a Launching Soon page We set up a digital gift card product using Shopify's built-in gift cards. For the period before launch, we styled the store's password page as a Launching Soon page. It carries the Sweet Peach branding and an email capture box for the early access VIP list, so the brand can collect interest while the photos are being shot.
